Asian tallest statue of Lord Shiva, Bhaktapur.


En route, the clients enjoyed an aerial view of Asia’s tallest Lord Shiva statue. The 143-feet idol of Lord Shiva, lies in the outskirts of Kathmandu in Sanga, Bhaktapur. The idol, made up of cement and concrete, took more than a decade to complete. They offered floral tribute to the idol by showering flower petals from aboard the chopper.It is located at the boundry line of Bhaktapur and Kare district.It is is the top of the hill Chitapol Vdc.Lord shiva is taken as a head of the gods and goddess in hindu religon , must of the people worship him as as head gods  Mahadev or ago of suprime power.
